3 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup dark corn syrup (Karo)
1 cup pecan halves
1 teaspoon vanilla
unbaked pie shell


Beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter, and syrup with rotary beater; add pecans and pour into unbaked pie shell. 

Bake forty to fifty minutes in moderate oven (375-degrees) until custard is set and pastry is browned nicely.
