Ingredients

Sliced onions
2 tablespoons fat
1/3 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pepper
1/4 cup Pet milk
3 cups shredded cabbage, lettuce etc
3 cups boiled potatoes
1 cup carrots, cooked peas, celery

Method

Cook slivered onions in 2 tablespoons fat; add 1/3/ cup vinegar, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons water, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and pepper.  Cool and add 1/4 cup Pet milk.  Add to 4 cups shredded cabbage or lettuce, 3 cups boiled potatoes, 1 cup carrots, cooked peas, celery.
