Salmon Basket


1 loaf bread
1 can salmon
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon finely chopped onion
Salt and Pepper


Cut the crusts off the loaf of bread and hollow out the inside. Add 1 cup of crumbs to the milk and cook over a low burner until smooth. Remove from the stove and add the flaked salmon, butter, and seasonings. Fill the loaf with the mixture and brush the outside with melted butter. Bake in a hot [400-degrees] oven until golden brown.
