Ingredients
2 pounds cleaned, raw shrimp
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper
Dash, Tobasco sauce, chili powder
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1 large can whole tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
1 small can water
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Dash paprika and sugar
1/2 cup white wine
Method
Saute onions, celery, green pepper and mushrooms in butter with seasonings. Add tomatoes, paste, and water. Place in casserole with shrimp. Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes adding 1/4 cup white wine 10 minutes before serving.
