Sicilian Supper

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked noodles
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 8 ounces cream cheese cubed
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 cup green pepper chopped
  • Tomato paste


  • Brown meat, add onion; cook until tender add tomato paste, water, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer 5 minutes.
  • Heat milk and cream cheese, blend well. Stir in 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, garlic salt, green pepper, and noodles.
  • In {a} casserole, alternate layers of noodles & meat sauce.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for twenty minutes.
  • Sprinkle remaining parmesan cheese on {top}.

    My Mom used to made this all of time. I make it a little different. I only put meat mixture on 1/2 of the casserole. My daughter doesn’t like it with burger in to. This is a go-to, easy recipe!!! Serve with garlic bread and salad.
