Ingredients
1 package yellow cake mix
1 small package instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup water
2/3 cup oil
Topping
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 teaspoon cinnamon
Method
Beat together cake ingredients on high.
Pour 1/2 batter into 15x11x3 or 13×9 loaf pan. Add 1/2 topping (sprinkled over bottom). Add rest of batter and sprinkle with the balance of topping.
Bake at 325-degrees for 35 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes, drizzle powdered sugar icing over the top. Add almond flavoring to icing if desired.
Powdered Sugar Icing – 1.5 cups confectioner’s sugar, 3 to 4 tablespoons milk or water, 2 teaspoons almond (or vanilla) flavoring if desired.
