Stewed Cranberries

Stewed Cranberries

The Magic Sauce by Eatmor Cranberries

Ingredients

2 cups water
1 1/2 to 2 cups of sugar
4 cups Eatmor Cranberries

Method

Boil 2 cups of water and 1 1/2 to 2 cups of sugar together 5 minutes, then add 4 cups Eatmor Cranberries.  Boil without stirring (5 minutes is usually sufficient) until all the skins pop open.  Remove from fire when the popping stops, and allow the sauce to remain in the vessel undisturbed until cool.

“No flavor or color is quite like the piquant taste and ruddy red glow of cranberry sauce.

Its uses are almost unlimited.  It is not only one of the best accompaniments to meat and poultry, but pies, tarts, puddings, salads can be easily and quickly ‘created’ with it.  Just try 10 Minute Cranberry Sauce on vanilla ice cream for flavor and color.”
