1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup oil
1 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup coconut
1 cup Rice Krispies
1 cup quick oats
3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cream of tarter


Drop by teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet. 

Bake at 350-degrees for 10 minutes; until lightly browned. 

Store wrapped and covered. 


Vintage Recipes Notes:

First, cream the sugars and margarine/butter; then blend in the egg, oil, and vanilla. Combine the flour, salt, and cream of tartar and mix well; slowly fold into the wet mixture and mix until well incorporated. Combine the coconut, Rice Krispies, and quick oats, and slowly add to the mixture and mix well. 

Drop by rounded teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet

Bake at 350-degree for about 10 minutes; until lightly browned
