Ingredients

1-gallon apple cider
2 teaspoons whole allspice
2 teaspoons whole cloves
2 3-inch sticks cinnamon
2/3 cup sugar
Orange slices studded with cloves
Some cranberry juice and rum

Method

Heat cider, allspice, cloves, cinnamon, and sugar to boiling, reducing heat. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Strain punch and pour into a heat-proof punch bowl. Float orange slices in the punch bowl.

Serves 32, 1/2 cup each.
