A vintage handwritten recipe card for classic Pralines with pecans. Pralines have been a New Orleans favorite for generations. These Pralines are simply made with white sugar, milk, soda, and pecans.

- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 2 cups pecans
Cook until soft ball stage - about 20 minutes.
Take off {heat} and beat until it begins to thicken, then drop on wax paper by tablespoon.
