Hershey's Five Minute Frosting
A vintage clipped recipe from Hershey's for a Five Minute Chocolate Frosting. Make this frosting with butter, Hershey's Cocoa, confectioners' sugar, milk, and vanilla.

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup Hershey's Cocoa
  • 2 2/3 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 4 to 5 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla

Method

  • Cream butter or margarine until softened in a small mixing bowl.
  • Add cocoa; blend well.
  • Gradually add confectioners' sugar alternately with milk and vanilla; beat to spreading consistency.
  • Spread frosting onto dessert with spatula.
