Pronto Pups
Ingredients 1 cup flour 2 tablespoons sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoons salt 2/3 cup cornmeal 2 tablespoons shortening 1 slightly beaten egg 3/4 cup milk Method Sift dry ingredients, cut in shortening, and add egg and milk. Dip weiners into the batter and fry in a deep fryer.
