Chili Cheese Log
A vintage handwritten recipe card for a Chili Cheese Log. Make this Chili Cheese Log with American cheese, cream cheese, salt, pepper, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce, and chili powder. This is best made 3 or 4 days ahead of time.

grated natural American cheese

cream cheese, softened

salt

pepper

tsp
garlic salt
1 1/2
tsp
Worcestershire sauce
chili powder
Method
Three or four days ahead of time, thoroughly combine cheeses, salt, pepper, garlic salt, and Worcestershire sauce. To mix easily, use elecgric mixer.
Shape into two thin logs.
On waxed paper sprinkled with chili powder, roll each cheese log, thoroghly coating each with a powder.
Wrap. Let ripen in the refrigerator.
To serve, arrange log on a board; slice some, serve with assorted crackers. Leftovers keep well.
