Mrs. Hatfield's Three Bean Salad
A vintage typed recipe card for a classic three bean salad made with olive oil, sugar, vinegar, kidney beans, green beans, way beans, garbanzo beans, green pepper, onion, salt, and pepper.

- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can green beans
- 1 can wax beans
- 1 can garbanzo beans optional
- 1 large onion
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Mix olive oil, sugar, and vinegar.
Alternate layers of bean, well-drained, green pepper, and onion in a large dish.
Pour olive oil mixture over, add salt and pepper.
Marinate several hours or overnight.
Serve well chilled in lettuce cups.
