Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 cup sifted flour with a pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Method

  • Melt butter; add sugar, {flour,} and vanilla.
  • Roll up into small balls.
  • Put on cookie sheet, cover with a piece of wax paper and press each one with the bottom of a wine glass (the wax paper keeps the glass from sticking to the cookie).
  • Bake at 375-degrees until light brown.
