A vintage recipe for a Cantonese Dinner made with pork steak, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, tomato paste, brown sugar, vinegar, salt, and Worchestershire sauce.

- 1 1/2 pounds pork steak cut 1/2 inch thick, cut into strips
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 small green pepper, cut into strips
- 1 can mushrooms, drained
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Brown pork in oil to remove excess fat.
Drain on paper towels.
Place pork and other ingredients into crock-pot.
Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours (High for 4 hours).
Serve over rice
