Quick Easy Peach Cobbler
A vintage clipped recipe for a quick and easy Peach Cobbler made with margarine, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk, and a large can of peaches.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can peaches or 1 qt. frozen or home-canned peaches

Method

  • Melt margarine and pour int a large pan or baking dish.
  • Mix together the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and milk into baking dish.
  • Add the canned peaches and half the syrup.
  • For frozen peaches, add peaches and about 1 cup of peach juice.
  • Sprinkle sugar lightly over the top.
  • Bake 45 minutes (until brown) at 325 degrees.
