A vintage clipped recipe from Borden's for Fudge Brownies made with chocolate chips, butter, baking mix, Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, an egg, and vanilla extract.

- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 ounces)
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter
- 2 cups biscuit baking mix
- 1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (14-ounce)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large saucepan, over low heat, melt 1 cup cips with margarine; remove from heat.
Add biscuit mix, sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla.
Stir in remaining 1 cup of chips.
Turn into a well greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of pan.
Cool.
Garnish as desired.
Cut into bars. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
