Fruit Cake Cookies
A vintage handwritten recipe for classic Fruit Cake Cookies made with mixed fruit, coconut, flour, salt, pecans, and Eagle Brand Milk.

Ingredients
- 1 pound mixed fruit
- 1 can coconut 3.5 ounces
- 1/2 cup flour
- pinch salt
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
Method
- Dredge fruit in flour.
- Add salt, coconut, and nuts.
- Add Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk and mix thoroughly.
- Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated {275 degree} oven.
- Store cooled cookies in an airtight container about five days before serving.
