A vintage handwritten recipe for classic Fruit Cake Cookies made with mixed fruit, coconut, flour, salt, pecans, and Eagle Brand Milk.

- 1 pound mixed fruit
- 1 can coconut 3.5 ounces
- 1/2 cup flour
- pinch salt
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
Dredge fruit in flour.
Add salt, coconut, and nuts.
Add Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk and mix thoroughly.
Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated {275 degree} oven.
Store cooled cookies in an airtight container about five days before serving.
