Nut Bread - Verdin

An old recipe for classic Nut Bread


3 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
1 large cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs


Sift flour and baking powder together add other ingredients, stirring well. Put into greased tins, let rise for 25 minutes, and bake from 30 to 35 minutes in a moderate oven [325 to 350-degrees].
