3 tablespoons butter

cream together sugar and butter

3/4 cup milk
4 yolks – 3 eggs
1 1/2 cups Swansdown flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla

Filling

1 pound figs, ground fine
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Boil until thick

Frosting

White of 1 egg
4 tablespoons powdered sugar
Vanilla
