Ingredients
1/2 pound prunes, apricots, or peaches
2-3 cups water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Stick cinnamon or cloves for prunes
Method
1. Place fruit in a strainer and wash by running hot water over them.
2. Soak fruit in warm water 30-40 minutes.
3. Cook slowly until tender in the same water soaked in.
4. Add lemon juice and spice & simmer 2-3 minutes.
5. Cool.
