Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup shortening
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Method

Cream sugar, shortening, and peanut butter.  Sift flour, salt, and soda.  Add well-beaten eggs, then flour. 

Roll dough size of walnut, place on buttered pan and press to the desired size with a fork.  

Bake in a moderate oven {350-degrees} for fifteen minutes.
