Refrigerator Rolls

Ingredients

2 egg whites, slightly beaten
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup sugar
1 package yeast, dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup lukewarm water (105-degrees to 115-degrees)
4 cups unsifted flour

Method

In a large bowl, stir together egg whites, oil, sugar, yeast mixture, salt, water, and flour until dough pulls away from the side of the bowl. Cover, refrigerate dough at least 12 hours. (Dough may be kept in refrigerator several days.)

On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into balls 2 inches in diameter. Place balls 1/2 inch apart in 2 (8-inch) round cake pans. Let rise in a warm place 2 hours before baking.

Bake in a 375-degree oven 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Make 2 1/2 dozen rolls.
