Pumpkin Bread - Wisconsin

Pumpkin Bread, a vintage handwritten recipe card

Ingredients

1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup Wesson oil
1 cup cooked pumpkin
2/3 cup cold water
2 teaspoons soda
3 cups flour

Method

Mix together cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar.  Mix in 4 eggs and 1 cup Wesson oil; add 1 cup cooked pumpkin and 2/3 cup cold water then add 2 teaspoons soda, and 3 cups flour.  

Mix well and fill 3 loaf pans about 2/3 full. 

Bake 350-degrees for 1 hour.
