Dick's Sauerkraut Casserole

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1/2 tablespoon dried onions
1/2 cup water
1 can sauerkraut, drained and rinsed

3/4 cup water
1/3 cup long grain rice
1 can tomato sauce
Salt and pepper

Method

Cook in a frying pan 1 pound ground beef, 1/2 tablespoon dried onions, 1/2 cup water, and 1 drained and rinsed can of sauerkraut.  Add 3/4 cup water, 1/3 cup long grain rice, 1 can tomato sauce, and salt and pepper to taste; mix well and place in casserole dish. 

Bake covered at 350-degrees for 1 hour; top with bread crumbs and bake 10 minutes more.
