1 loaf delicate bread
2 to 4 tablespoon melted butter
2 or 3 medium oysters
1/2 cup oyster juice
1 cup mixed butter and fat
Slice the top [of the bread] lengthwise, from loaf scoop out crumbs, brush top and box with melted butter, set in pan brown and reduce oven heat. Fry oysters and arrange in the box, set in oven replacing the top, when oysters are all fried, place loaf on the platter and garnish with lemon, pass pickle relish.
