2 egg whites – room temperature
Few grains of salt
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate bits to 1 part
1/2 cup mint bits to 1 part
1/2 cup cuts to 1 part
Preheat oven to 375-degrees for 15 minutes.
Beat egg whites until frothy. Add salt and cream of tartar, beat until stiff. Add sugar, beating slowly all the while. Beat until glossy. Add vanilla.
Divide into 3 parts and color.
Add 1/2 cup chocolate bits to 1 part, 1/2 cup mint bits to 1 part, and 1/2 cup nuts to 1 part.
Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Place in oven and turn off immediately.
Do Not open oven for 5 hours.
