Seven Minute Frosting
Servings: 7 Cups

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 pkg Jell-O, any flavor (3-ounce package)
  • dash salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsp Karo

Method

  • Combine all ingredients in the top of a double boiler.
    2 egg whites, 1 1/4 cups sugar, 1 pkg Jell-O, any flavor, dash salt, 1/2 cup water, 2 tsp Karo
  • Beat about one minute or until thoroughly mixed.
  • Beat over gently boiling water at high speed of an electric mixer or with a rotary mixer on minium or until frosting will stand in stiff peaks.
  • Stir frosting from sides of pan, makes about 7 cups.
