Ingredients
Crust
Apples
1 12-ounce can frozen apple juice
2 tablespoons corn starch
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Method
Make crust – fill with cut-up apples.
Take one 12-ounce can of frozen apple juice, pour into pan; add 2 tablespoons corn starch, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Place on stove and cook until thickened. Pour over apples and put a crust on top.
Bake at 400-degrees for 15 minutes and turn down to 350-degrees and cook about 45 minutes to one hour.
Note: This should be cooked in a large pie pan because the liquid will boil over. I place a piece of foil under my pie while it is cooking. I’ve never been able to keep it from cooking over.
