- 1 1/2 cups Sifted Cake Flour
- 1 cup Quick Cooking Oats
- 3/4 cup Firmly Packed Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cloves
- 1/4 tsp Ground Allspice
- 1/2 cup Vegetable Shortening
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 Eggs
Method
- Combine first 9 ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add shortening and 3/4 cup milk.
- Beat at low speed
- Add remaining 1/4 cup milk and eggs and continue to beat.
- Fill paper lined muffin cups half full.
- Bake in a 375-degree oven for 20 minutes.
- Frost with Honey Cream Cheese Frosting
