Ingredients
2 egg whites – slightly beaten
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup pancake & waffle syrup
2 tablespoons strong coffee
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
Method
Beat {first 6 ingredients} with an electric beater over boiling water until it forms stiff peaks. Remove from heat. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat to spreading consistency. Add 2 cups flaked coconut and 1 cup chopped nuts.
