Ingredients

4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Cinnamon
Salt
1 cup chopped suet
1 cup raisins
Citron
Nuts
1 scant cup milk
1 cup molasses
 

Method

To four cups flour sifted with 1 teaspoon baking powder and a little cinnamon and salt, add 1 cup chopped suet, 1 cup raisins, a little citron and some nuts, 1 scant cup milk, 1 cup molasses; steam for 3 hours.
